In their second ITHL exhibition outing, late Tuesday, the North Stars Wilderness team played against #18 overall Poundtown Puckhog HC. Unfortunately, a late roster scratch of a key veteran required a quick call up from the farm, and a new goalie played as well. Highlights below:

Final score results 8-4 in favor of Poundtown.
Despite running into penalties early, the Puckhogs quickly got on the board, and overwhelmed the Wilderness defense, scoring 7 goals in the first two periods.

However, a light in the tunnel emerged in the 3rd as the Wilderness opened up with 4 straight goals of their own, lead by Captain Robertov with two goals, while Dusty Scafe, and new callup Bent each pitched in a goal.

More exhibition games are in discussion later in the week, details TBA at a later time. However, the overall mood in the locker room has been sour the past few outings. Here’s hoping the boys rediscover their mojo!
