On Friday night, practically the entire North Stars Wilderness team was online and ready to play scrimmages. After what felt like an eternity, the puck finally dropped and the results were pleasing for just about everyone. Highlights below:
Overall, as the midnight oil burned, the mood in the party chat during and after these intrasquads was quite invigorating, as both games were extremely close.
There were plenty of big saves, dirty hits, crazy goals, and friendly trash talk to go around for everyone. Scharzzard (2-0-0) and Dill-Weed (0-1-1) played goal in their respective nets, while Nanashi and Stinkbutt led their teams on the score card. It’s very likely that the team will have another intra-squad event in the near future, since it allows everyone to build on their skills while receiving helpful critique and tips to improve their play and situational awareness.
